STRATEGIC PARTNER

Because communities rich in people and ideas should never be starved of opportunity — we’re leading the charge to unite efforts and uplift the entrepreneurs who need it most. Together, our mission is to empower the next generation — reminding today’s entrepreneurs that while support is available, the ultimate goal is to grow strong enough to reach back and help others — especially the next generation — rise too.
The ReachBack 5-2-1 Community Impact Initiative partners with micro-entrepreneurs to empower tomorrow's next generation. Through this initiative, ReachBack leads strategic planning, designs fundraisers, organizes impactful community-driven projects, and shares valuable research. Together, our efforts as micro-enterprise community-based businesses will drive tangible positive change—fostering job creation, entrepreneurship growth, youth savings, access to capital, project funding opportunities, and equipping communities with resources, skills, and pathways for long-term resilience and prosperity. OUR WHY - Micro grassroots nonprofits and local small businesses often struggle to raise the capital needed to launch, sustain, and scale their operations. Traditional funding sources such as banks, venture capital, and large grantmakers frequently overlook these community-based organizations due to limited collateral, lack of formal networks, or the perceived risk associated with smaller-scale ventures. As a result, these entities—many of which are deeply rooted in underserved communities—face persistent financial barriers that hinder their ability to create jobs, deliver essential services, and contribute to local economic development. Addressing this capital access gap is essential for promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and strengthening community resilience.
America is experiencing a 40-year low in entrepreneurial activity, disproportionately impacting under-capitalized and unbanked startups,
grassroots nonprofits, emerging youth and young adult leaders, and under-resourced communities. ReachBack’s mission is to teach startup entrepreneurship methods and strategies through hands-on, real-world projects.

A Growing Impact
ReachBack’s Career Explore program has grown steadily since its early days when the youth founders of NewGen-r—Christian Simmons, Autumn Meeks, Miracle Dix, and Chase Patterson—boldly helped shape the program and advocated for local change. Their efforts led to Douglas County supporting their proposal to beautify the 166/92 roundabout. The group collected over 100 petition signatures, presented their plan to the county, and worked with officials to deliver their package to GDOT. Today, that project has secured county budget allocation and is included in Douglas County’s 5-Year Comprehensive Plan. The youth continue to advocate for its progress, with hopes of seeing the beautification completed before the end of 2026.
Their initiative also sparked broader community involvement, attracting investors and supporters committed to growing youth-led initiatives under ReachBack’s leadership. Among these key supporters:
NewGen-r Homeschool – started and led by ReachBack
NewGen-r Just Us Blessed – backed by a Family Office
NewGen-r Rebos – supported by Tony Sotres
NewGen-r KDOW – backed by Dr. Lynette Wilson-Phillips
NewGen-r EPIC – supported by Andrea Hall (in development)
NewGen-r Holly Springs – supported by HOA Board of Directors (in development)
A key focus within these youth programs is closing the summer learning loss gap through affordable enrichment experiences tied to entrepreneurship and workforce development.
