What We Teach
🌱 The Entrepreneurial Mindset: Helping Youth, Young Adults and Entrepreneurs Think—and Act—Strategically.
ReachBack serves as a community-based strategic advisor—like a consulting firm built for individuals and grassroots entrepreneurs, not corporations. Through coordinated career development, entrepreneurial coaching and real-world projects, we equip youth, young adults, and grassroots entrepreneurs for modern careers and entrepreneurship. These include:
Strategic Coaching: Individualized guidance for entrepreneurs, young adults, and youth to develop business acumen, critical thinking, and career planning skills.
Real-World Projects: Participants apply skills through community-focused projects, startup initiatives, and business pivots that build experience and confidence.
Skill Development Programs: Training in financial literacy, digital tools, AI applications, and modern business operations to support economic mobility.
Community Partnerships: Access to mentorship, enterprise partnerships, and networks that expand opportunities and practical learning for participants.
Through these services, ReachBack creates the pathways and infrastructure for participants to grow viable ventures, secure meaningful careers, and strengthen their local communities.
An entrepreneurial mindset is a set of beliefs, thought processes, and attitudes that empower individuals to identify opportunities, take initiative, and embrace calculated risks to create value. It involves adaptability, resilience in the face of failure, and a relentless desire to solve problems and improve the world.
Key characteristics of this mindset include:
Opportunity Recognition
Adaptability and Resilience
Action-Orientation
Value Creation
Risk Management
This mindset is not just for founders but is a way of thinking that fosters innovation and proactive problem-solving in any professional setting.

Youth Gain Strategic Momentum - Exploring Their Career Interests
A New Generation of Renaissance (NewGen-r): One Leader at a Time
Meet the architects of a movement. Christian and Autumn, Co-Founders of NewGen-r, a ReachBack YouthCircle, joined by partners Tory and Natalie, began as explorers and grew into leaders. Their journey shows what happens when young people are given real work, real responsibility, and real belief.
And the leadership doesn't end when the projects do. Autumn and Christian continue to build NewGen-r: speaking at community events, raising capital, serving on the board, supporting new YouthCircles, and leading initiatives at their school. They're not participants, they're catalysts.
Here’s a snapshot of the careers they’re exploring—guided by ReachBack and supported by their families, but driven forward by their own choice and curiosity. Exploration isn't just looking; it's doing. These students aren't waiting for graduation to find their path—they are building the momentum today that will lead to their leap tomorrow.

The Models That Power ReachBack Guide Everything We Do!
The 5-2-1 Strategy - A Blueprint for Ecosystem Growth
Active Coordination Our work is not theoretical. We don't just "mentor"—we coordinate. We manage a portfolio of projects, listening deeply and planning intentionally to turn real problems into career goals and local economic engines.
We use a 5-2-1 strategy to build career growth and local ecosystems.
The 5 (Youth-Led Projects): Builds the "Stronger Community" (Civic leadership).
The 2 (Business Projects): Builds "Economic Mobility" (Jobs and revenue).
The 1 (Community Startup): Builds “Community Think Tanks” (Community needs met)
THE 5-2-1 STRATEGY @ WORK
We provide deep-dive advisory to local entrepreneurs, helping them build capacity and revenue strategies to become capital ready, and increase their capacity to hire.
The Entrepreneurial Mindset Journey
🌱At ReachBack, we teach one core skill that changes everything: How to Think Strategically.
When people master strategy, they stop reacting to the economy and start shaping it, everything else follows. They collaborate with purpose, explore careers with intention, test ventures with confidence 🔍, and become the community builders who strengthen neighborhoods from the inside out 🏘️.
To Break the Cycle of Stuck Potential
The Connected Crisis
In many underserved communities, two challenges are tightly linked:
– Young people lack clear career direction.
– Local businesses lack the strategic support needed to grow.
When small businesses struggle, opportunities for youth disappear — and the cycle repeats.
The Time Gap Most organizations care deeply, but they lack the bandwidth for the intensive, strategic "heavy lifting" required to fix the economic engine. Real change takes hundreds of hours of listening, planning, coordinating, and hands-on support — the kind of heavy lifting most technical-assistance providers simply can’t take on.
The Strategic Fix We exist to bridge this gap. Through our 5-2-1 Framework, we provide the time and the strategy to help students find purpose and businesses find growth.
We think differently. We teach differently. We build differently. We design the long-term solutions that allow families and grassroots entrepreneurs to own their economic future.

The 5-2-1 Projects in Action
📍These Propietary Models Behind Our Work Make Us Different ... Because of our Collaborative Approach to community and business projects. Most programs simulate the real world. We dive into it. Our collaborative projects pair students with community leaders to solve actual needs, proving that the best way to learn the entrepreneurial mindset is to practice it where it matters most.
This ReachBack Collaborative Beautification Community Project Transformed Students into Resilient Civic Leaders.
From Learning, Researching, Leading to Policy Advocacy: Students Collaborated on Persuading their Government to Make Change - A Youth-Led, 1-Year Long-term - The Hwy 166/92 Legacy Project
The Student Outcome: Strategic Resiliency & Civic Leadership
What started as a study of the 166/92 corridor became a year-long masterclass in civic power. Our NewGen-r leaders didn't just advocate for change—they engineered it. Through a 12-month cycle of rigorous research, community petitioning, and direct government advocacy, these students proved that "Strategic Resiliency" is the ultimate tool for community transformation.
The 166/92 Project: A Year of Strategic Influence
Phase 1: Research (The Audit): Students analyzed the corridor to identify the systemic gaps in beautification.
Phase 2: Mobilization (The Petition): Building a community coalition to back a strategic vision.
Phase 3: Impact (The Advocacy): Persuading government officials to enact a long-term solution.
Our Youth Career Explore is beyond simulations, students take on real community challenges. From petitions, blueprints, project plans, PR to CAD designs and community outreach, these students shaped the Highway 166/92 beautification proposal—now adopted into Douglas County’s 5-year plan—and are advancing Phase II to ensure it gets built.
Youth build websites, create videos, and develop the soft skills now to be ready to grow companies later.
